HairJob

oh... yeah. finally got the mess on my head trimmed out.

school started at 9am. so i woke my sleepy ass at about 830am. washed up, and trudged to school in company of the sounds of Aerosmith's {Crazy}. blah blah blah, lesson over, so then i accompanied a friend to the local Chinese mart at Mitre street to check out some stuff; and i bought a totally unappealing, cold Bacon & Cheese bread from the bakery nearby. cost me Aud$1.80. well, no choice, i got home and settled the bread with a can of Baked beans in Tomato, but not before microwaving it and adding more cheese. that settles breakfast. subsequently did nothing but surfed around the WWW, and started to consider if i should go for a hair-restructurization session. after a few checks in front of the mirror, oh what the hell... and so i hopped into something casual and went to the Uni Hair Salon, located at the Union in school.

i got in. made myself comfortable on those waiting-list chairs. and then was asked, 'hello, do you have an appointment?'.

Huh!? appointment? to cut hair? 'No', i said, 'can i make one now?'.

and so she looked at her timeslots, 'a quarter past 12, is it ok?'.

'sure'. 'and what is your name', she asks.

'Louie. L-O-U-I-E'.

i got a glimpse of my name written on her book, Lui. ok, whatever.

i didn't had my watch with me, so i asked her what time was it. and then she pointed to the clock behind me and told me i just have to wait for another 10mins. so i thought that i might as well sit down and read some bitchy female magazine for entertainment. there was plenty available. but a holiday travel book caught my eye, and next thing i know, i was introduced to Bali.

the wait didn't take long, barely got the chair warmed when someone else called for 'Lui'. she got me settled in front of a mirror, and i told her to just give me the usual trim. swiftly, she went to work. occasionally stopping to tend to new customers coming in or to pick up a phone call. took about 30, or maybe 40 minutes, and then it was done. so i paid my Aud$17 and left. the main reason that i didn't intend to cut my hair was because haircuts here are expensive. this one in school was normal priced. but overall, i felt the hairjob was great, and here's how i console myself it was worth and i'm satisfied with the price.

$4 --> she was blonde
$4 --> and attractive
$3 --> had sweet voice
$2 --> smelled great
$2 --> was gentle
$2 --> had skill

WHAT am i thinking. anyway, i rushed home for a shower as the loose hair was irritating the hell outta me.
for those of you, wanting a glimpse of what i look like now, it's just neat lah.
somehow from this:

become this:

in my damn dreams :)
