November
November.
a favorite month of mine. not because it rains a lot and the fact that i love to listen to 'November Rain' on a rainy day. it's because that is a month when exams occur. yes, EXAMS. you know, when i first had the notion of going to a university for studies, it dawned on me that it is a fantastic place to learn. why? because it is a place where there's knowledge. an immense collection of knowledge. but of course, there’s a lot of knowledge in universities because the freshmen bring a little in; the seniors don’t take much away, so knowledge sort of accumulates. and how lecturers or professors always repeat what they've taught over and over, through the years. if i was one, i'd say i'll post my lectures on Youtube. everyone gets to learn, for free, too. for those of you, who've been to a college or university, it would be all too familiar that every lecturer assumes that you have nothing else to do except study for that instructor’s course. and upon that, we're left to assume that everything we study are examinable. which kinda makes us think that 'are they sure they're gonna test us on everything?'. As of course, to which you do not have any choice, but to go head on and study everything. with the fact in mind that, the more studying you did for the exam, the less sure you are as to which answer they want. and furthermore, 80% of the final exam will be based on the one lecture you missed and the one book you didn’t read.
at the end of the day, or exams, we'd just all be happy that it's finally over. but then, isn't life just a whole collection of test and exams? be it in school or not. the difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson.
for those of you who are free, do play this game. only available from 6pm to 6am.
my exams are coming. 3, 4, 7, 13.
