anyway, it was quite boring with some helpful moments. but i met new friends, 4 guys from Singapore. Alan is taking food technology, wei bin is taking biomedical science, timothy is taking history and yong quan is taking electronic engineering of some sort. all are studying for 2 years, and are all 22 years of age. damn... i'm old. to make matters worst, i also met new frens from People's republic of china(PRC). there were these 3 lovely girls, all 22 also, and they were gonna do Masters degree in Commerce. At 22! DAMN... I'm OLD. it's my fault, waste my own time in JC. but, things happen in life for a reason. if it wasn't for JC, my ass wouldn't be here in UQ either. these people i knew today all arrived very recently, 3 of the SG guys came 2 days ago and the PRC group came 2 days ago too, 1am in the morning. all staying at backpackers hotel now. thank goodness i came early, guess my kiasu spirit slightly more than them.
well, headed home for dinner after APP ended for the day. got home and cooked steamed egg with pumpkin. totally ruined it by not knowing to add H2O to the egg, and having the heat too strong. but it still tasted ok(to my standards). but dinner was totally great because of the pork-ribs and watercress soup by maria, and also the stir-fry garlic shoots with mushrooms.
must thank these great aunties for cooking. thank you so much!
