First 2 days in Brisbane

being the healthy Louie, bread was multigrain with tuna and coleslaw. and milk is NO-fat. there were eggs too. wa lau... eggs are expensive here, $4+, or $5 for 12. how to survive? anyway, from now on... everything in AUD, please do cash conversion yourself.

i saw this sign while walking to school. looks like the guy eloping with the girl... i dunno. but interesting leh...

this is one of the many lakes at UQ Lakes.


there are many different kind of birds which are free roaming on school ground. very close to nature here. this is a turkey(someone told me bush turkey). might be scarce during christmas season. we'll see...

i was passing by UQ Lakes to take a bus to this place. this is the property management.


this is their bus-stop. very easy to miss.


and we went to woolworths(like cold storage in singapore). and then there's target too(like giant not selling any foodstuff, ikea not selling any furniture and they have everything else you need in household)

luckily they got my favourite. and its cheaper. bout $3+ for a 6 inch, depending on what you order.


there's this organic produce in the shopping mall. just look at what they have. i swear the pictures are not photoshop-ed to make the colours more vivid.

well, i was lucky to be able to settle and move into my accommodation in the first day. then spent the rest of time travelling and shopping for food and stuff i will be needing. get prepared for life, the aussie way. and also got myself a phone line and all. all these were done by assistance from great helpful people i met. thank you very much.
