House
It's been a week. many things have happened. around the world, that is, but nothing for me. i was only having a week of spring break. no big deal. been slacking around as usual. but, school's starting again.
if you guys think i'm having an extremely happening life in Australia, sorry to disappoint. am having the same shit, different day, different place. this week is supposed to be a week to catch up on lectures, revision. but then again, all i did was to stay home, surf net and watch some other shows at a friends place. manage to watch a movie at the cinema thou, Eagle Eye. i personally think it's a good show, and felt it was worth the money to watch at the cinema. the plot might not be very new, but there's something amazing about the pace of the show and its flow. people out there wanting to catch a show, should be watching this.
and then i've been indulging in TV series House and Fringe. the reason to watch House is the way he does medical diagnostics, such a maverick and genius. but outside of that, it's just so funny to watch the way he delivers the character's unorthodox diagnostic approaches, radical therapeutic motives, and stalwart rationality with lack of empathy and sympathy. and then there's Fringe, i wonder they have aired it in SG, but it's also another interesting show. Fringe follows the exploits of FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, scientist Walter Bishop, and his son Peter as they investigate aspects of fringe science (telepathy, levitation, invisibility, reanimation, etc). with such shows, i think i should be getting cable when i get home. not to mention the CSI i've been missing out.
